    Let's work on a proposal to recommend payment for commissioned services to ContinuumDAO.

    We need a framework so that contributors can know what to expect for payment and also what to ask for in their proposals for funding. Obviously exceptions would have to be made, depending on circumstances, so these would simply be guidelines.

    These are my thoughts on how to proceed :

    (1) Allocate 1 million CTMDAOVOTE tokens from the CTMDAO Treasury for contributors rewards.

    (2) For non-coding work, for an 8 hour day, the rate of pay would be 150 USDC + 75 CTMDAOVOTE. This category would include design, marketing, business development, documentation writing, proposal development for grants, admin functions.

    (3) For coding work (e.g. front end, but not smart contracts), for an 8 hour day, the rate of pay would be 225 USDC + 100 CTMDAOVOTE

    (4) For coding work (smart contracts), for an 8 hour day, the rate of pay would be 225 USDC + 200 CTMDAOVOTE

    (5) All commissioned work (i.e. a core contributor or Guild Leader asked for this work to happen) would have to be documented in time sheets, unless covered by separate funded proposals. Work of part of a day would be funded pro-rata by the number of hours actually worked.

    (6) Payment would be made by the end of the month.

    Let's work on the ideas for a proposal here that we are confident will pass. Please add your ideas below

    Is it necessary to set the payments of tasks into a contribution-based model that will include a fixed part and an actual performance-based part? This model could improve the efficiency and quality of the tasks but will require guild leads or committees to evaluate the outcome.

    @Jerry we need to be decentralized and I don't know who should decide if a task was well performed or not. In fact the whole idea of Guild Leaders is more centralized than I like, but I understand that we do need them.

    Maybe the USDC payment is basic and the CTMDAOVOTE part can be withheld if a task was not satisfactorily completed? This decision would be made by Guild Leaders (or Committee?). Maybe we should use some kind of voting (like in CoordinApe) to decide if a task was properly finished?

    Maybe as a guideline we should limit payment for any task to 2,000 USDC without needing a proposal and voting?

    Any proposal should include a payment schedule, detailing how final payment would only be sought when the work has been properly delivered.

    Hey guys, here is a suggestion for the fair payment structure for contributors based on the average compensation across various platforms, such as https://web3.career/smart-contract-jobs. Additionally, I have incorporated a matrix that considers the length of working experience, aiming to provide equitable compensation within CTMDAO.

    Non-code Rate (NCR)

    Basic Payment: $200/day

    Crypto Industry Experience Bonus
    $ = NCR * (1 + f(n))

    Year (n) Factor ( f(n) )
    1 0.05
    2 0.15
    3 0.2
    4 0.25
    5 0.3

    Code Rate (CR)

    Front-end: $280/day
    Back-end: $360/day
    Smart-contract: $320/day

    Crypto Industry Experience Bonus
    $ = CR * (1 + g(n))

    Year (n) Factor ( g(n) )
    1 0.1
    2 0.2
    3 0.25
    4 0.3
    5 0.35

    This structure not only provides a solid base payment for contributors but also recognizes and rewards the valuable experience gained in the crypto industry over the years. Feel free to reach out if further adjustments or clarifications are needed.

    This looks about right to me @Jerry , but let's set a limit of 2,500 USD for any single job, without the need to vote on it. Once we have issued CTM, we could also include some veCTM for contributors
