[001] Payment Proposal

Dear CTM citizens,

We are pleased to announce that the CTM treasury proposal has been approved. Four core contributors have been working since August to construct the CTMDAO, which includes engineering the MPC network, revamping routers, and preparing documents. This proposal requests compensation for these contributors.

The total requested amount for August is 48k USD. In addition, there are other expenses for the project, such as online tools and services. For the upcoming month, we anticipate additional costs, including cloud services and payments to additional contributors. Therefore, the core contributors require an additional 5k USD as a reserve for the daily costs of CTMDAO. The total requested amount for August is 53k USD.
For the next eight months, while the MultiDAO funded MPC project is in progress, we propose transferring 53k USD per month for the five contributors, plus funds required to maintain a float of 5k USD for operational expenses from the Treasury multi-sig wallet. The funds would be transferred at the end of each month to the MPC Project Manager for distribution. The operational fund (5k USD) would be kept in a separate wallet address. The total amount for following months is 58k USD each.

There will be some additional expenses related to the MPC project that are not covered by this proposal, such as the costs of auditing smart contracts. These expenses will be subject to further proposals and voting, once we have a clearer idea of the costs. Any payment exceeding 20,000 USD will require a proposal for a public vote. The payment amount will be estimated by the contributors and committee group for a reasonable amount. All payments and expenses will be documented in a report provided to the Committee group and ContinuumDAO in the future. The report will be created twice a year by an appointed Treasurer, whose main responsibility is to ensure financial stability and monitor the Treasury.

In the future, there will be a proposal to pay the core contributors and Guild leaders a basic monthly salary once we have completed the MPC project, to ensure continuity of all of the activities of ContinuumDAO. This proposal will follow discussions in ContinuumDAO regarding the best way to proceed.
